Shell of a Time

This property was great. Great location on a quiet street. The home is in great condition and is clean. There were a couple of issues that arose but the property managers were very prompt in resolving them. We will be back in the future.

I have vacationed in Blue Mountain for 5 years and this house and agent team were incredible. The house is so clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the commercial appliances were second to none. We loved everything about it. It was by far our best vacation. It will be our forever house on the gulf. The leasing agent team went above and beyond to assist in any way they could. It was a great experience all around. We will be back for many years to come and be sure to use Costal Blue every time.

We loved our stay at Shell of a Time! Very convenient location within walking distance to the beach, ice cream, coffee, and restaurants. The photos do not do the space justice. We felt it was even bigger in the person. The home is well maintained and was very clean upon arrival. We loved having our own pool and golf cart. Management was very quick to respond with any questions or concerns we had. There were only a few things (lock box codes, access to golf cart keys, etc.) that I felt needed some clarity but were quickly answered via text while on our trip. We also didn't realize that there would a pack and play on site. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for hosting.

We have been coming to Blue Mountain/ 30A since 2014 and this house is one of the best. The location was great, the pool was awesome and the house was perfectly suited for three families (6 adults and 6 kids 9 and under). Each bedroom having its own bath was definitely a plus. We would love to come back next year!

We enjoyed Shell of a Time with family for a week in September. It was perfect for our 3 families with grandkids. We rented a golf cart although you can walk to beach. Golf cart was fun for kids and good for all the stuff we take to the beach!

We loved our second stay at Shell Of A Time. The house has everything you need to have a comfortable, stress free vacation. Short walk to the beach. Amazing pool. Lots of comforts of home inside. Highly recommend!

Shell of a Time is an amazing home. One of the best rentals we have ever had at the beach, by far. Super classy and high end in every way, we were so comfortable and loved every thoughtful detail. The backyard with pool and cornhole were huge hits with the kids. The gourmet kitchen meant we did not feel like we needed to go to restaurants (we love to cook fresh seafood- and who needs crowds during a pandemic?). Great porches, easy walk to the beach. Only downside was the construction directly next door (over the fence from the pool), which added noise and workers during the day (not mentioned in the booking). Even so, the property was just THAT NICE that we will be back, for sure (assuming the construction has to end...)

Amazing House!

Our family off 6 adults and 3 grand children spent a week in Shell of a Time this past week. The house was fabulous. The pool was great for adults and children. You can ask for the pool to be heated (optional charge). The weather wasn’t the best but the heated pool was a life saver for the grands! The lot is spacious so the grands to run around. The house has 5 different porches/decks front, side (poolside) and 3 on the upper floors. We rented a golf cart but one of the public beaches is in easy walking distance. 4 spacious bedrooms and a pullout couch on the second floor. 1 of the bedrooms has two built in bunks big enough and strong enough for adults or children. High end Viking appliances. I hope we can go agin next year and stay a Shell of a Time!

Our trip got off to an unusual start because a thief stole the pool heater and cut off gas to the home. However, the owner and property management company acted fast and the problem was resolved immediately. The house is in a great location! Only a block to the beach and comes with bikes, chairs, lots of beach toys etc. very family friendly set up with all of the amenities you need! Also, great for large families as there are several different hang out spaces and plenty of parking. Highly recommend this property!!! We will be back!

This is our third year renting shell of a time. This home is well maintained. Some upgrades this year were new loungers by the pool and a lovely couch on one of the upstairs decks. While we were there management came out to replace one of the hanging swings. Coastal blue is on top of everything and I love this rental.

The home exceeded our expectations. The house had everything we needed and more! The location is perfect, a short walk to the beach (at an uncrowded access point too!). House management was extremely responsive to our needs and very pleasant. Wonderful home, we will return again!

We brought our family to Shell of a Time and had the best time. We have been to the area four previous times and this house was our favorite. The grandkids loved the pool and outdoor areas. The house had everything we needed for cooking and fun. Can’t wait to return!

We absolutely loved staying at this house! Having the pool made it so fun and was a nice change from going to the beach everyday. The house had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The beach is a short walk from the house. Having the bikes made it so easy to get ice cream and get some exercise.

This home went above and beyond expectations! It was so clean, modern and very well decorated. Plenty of space for everyone. The pool was great. A great location! Can’t say enough!

This house was amazing. New, beautiful, a block from the beach, heated pool, double bunks for the kids, close to the state parks... we had a blast! Can't wait to go back.
